Database Design/Development
High Grounds International’s experienced database designers understand the importance of adaptability and flexibility in a data design. Our Database Design/Development work begins with meeting with the client to develop a database structure that best fulfills their needs. After the database software has been chosen, we begin to design database and decide on the simplest method of loading the data.

Performance and Tuning
Constantly monitoring of database is important for optimal performance. Higher response time, higher CPU usage and more context switches are all signs of emerging problems. We can test and determine if a system is running well or not. If performance problems are indicated, we can trouble shoot those problems and develop appropriate solutions.

Complex SQL programming.
We can build or troubleshoot complex views, Stored Procedures (SP), Triggers, and/or user-defined functions. We understand Transact SQL, Microsoft's SQL programming language

Extract/transform/load (ETL)
ETL is combination of three separate functions combined into a single programming tool. First, the extract function reads data from a specified source and extracts a desired subset of data. Next, the transform function converts original data to the desired state. Finally, the load function is used to write the resulting data to a target database.
